The world is on a mission to eradicate the Covid-19 virus, which is why it is extra sad to hear that a plane carrying medical supplies and health care workers has exploded in the Philippines.

The medical evacuation plane, owned by Philippines-registered charter service, Lionair, was taking off to head to Haneda, Japan when it exploded during take-off at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), killing all eight passengers and crew members, as according to Channel News Asia.
