Kuantan Man Tells Nearby Event Visitors to Park at His Home, Only Asks Prayers for Wife Going into Labour

Recently, there have been many unpleasant incidents involving public parking spaces in Malaysia that went viral which unfortunately showcased how selfish and entitled some people could be.

These include how a man found his vehicle’s side mirror damaged with a blackmail letter after parking at a PPR and how a selfish driver caused traffic in Bukit Jalil for parking outside the designated area.

 

Kind homeowner in Kuantan allows nearby festival visitors to park at his home

Thankfully, this article is about the EXACT OPPOSITE of the instances above, restoring our faith in Malaysians!

Going viral on TikTok with over 389,000 views, @nonoshrn shared the kind action of a homeowner in Kuantan, Pahang who opened up the gates to his property to allow visitors to park their vehicles free of charge.

For context, when the video was recorded, the MADANI Rakyat festival was taking place at Dataran Kuantan, which is located near the property. 

 

He only asks for them to pray for his wife who’s going into labour

In the video, @nonoshrn showed a paper sign put up by the homeowner on his mailbox that reads,

“Free parking… Pray that my wife safely goes into labour… Thank you”

The camera then panned inside the property to show it full of parked vehicles as they went to visit the MADANI Rakyat festival.

In the caption, @nonoshrn asserted,

“May God ease everything for this Abang his wife as they have helped many who visited the #KarnivalMadani Kuantan”

Malaysians praise the homeowner for their kindness

In the comments section, many Malaysians praised the kind of the homeowner and accordingly, prayed that God ease all their affairs.

One commenter dubbed the homeowner as being 1 in a  million, saying that it’s hard to find selfless people like this nowadays.

The wife of the homeowner actually commented in the post too, thanking @nonoshrn and everyone in the comments for the kind words.
