KL Police Chief Praised for Going on Ground to Help Road Accident Victims & Control Traffic

The Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Datuk Shuhaily Mohd Zain earned plaudits from Malaysians recently after he went on the ground himself to assist his subordinates at the scene of a road accident.

Taking to its official Facebook page, the Kuala Lumpur Police said that Shuhaily was on his way to Putrajaya for a work-related matter when he came across the scene of the road accident at Jalan Sultan Abdul Halim.

The Kuala Lumpur Police Chief, who frequently travels via motorcycle then decided to stop and assist the victims of the road accident. He ensured all of the victims received the appropriate medical treatment and assistance from the police.

Furthermore, he also helped man the traffic alongside his subordinates who were already at the scene.

The accident itself involved a 46-year-old motorcyclist who sadly passed away at the scene after suffering severe injuries to the head.

Shuhaily expressed condolences to the family of the deceased and thanked all of the police officers who were there for their effort in helping the road accident victims.

In the comment section of the post, many lauded the Kuala Lumpur Police Chief for going beyond the call of duty and his humbleness to go on the ground together with his subordinates.

One commenter said that Shuhaily is a responsible leader and an example for all of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM).
