Often times, it’s easy to take public transport workers for granted because we’re always so focused on rushing to get to our next destination. Nonetheless, we shouldn’t use that as an excuse to neglect these staff for their services.

Recently, a train conductor from Bangkok, Thailand went viral after a netizen took to Facebook to share how the kind man heroically helped her elderly immobile mother off the train.

According to Sin Chew Daily, the netizen took the train with her old mother from Hat Yai to Ratchaburi, a popular area located in the outskirts of Bangkok.

The train conductor initially noticed the feeble elderly woman facing difficulty getting off the train. He grew concerned for the woman’s safety as the train steps were steep and she would still have to make the dangerous journey across a few train tracks before reaching the sidewalk safely.

Due to her old age, the woman was also less mobile than other passengers. Knowing that it would be a hassle for her to walk all the way to the other side, the kind man didn’t hesitate to offer his services and heroically lifted the woman, carrying her from the steps, to the safety of the walking path. Another young train service staff member also rushed to assist the elderly lady as he helped transport her luggage to the platform.

Many netizens were touched by the heartwarming sight, praising the train conductors for their kindness to go above and beyond what their job required of them. Some even referred to them as role models for the youth of society.

Kudos to these conductors for their kindness! May we all strive to show compassion as they do.
