The caption of the post reads,

“Dendeng Nyet Berapi is being sold for RM39.90 at a supermarket in Sarawak. I understand shipping can be expensive, but RM39.90 is nearly 3 times the online price (RM14.99).”

However, in response to the post, Khairul Aming personally addressed the situation, explaining that neither he nor his team had appointed anyone for retail sales. He emphasised that if they had, it would have been announced.

He also added,

“All sambal and dendeng are sold online only at the prices of RM13.99 and RM14.99. I don’t even know where this red display box came from; we didn’t print it. Please purchase from our online store only to avoid the issue of fake sambal that is as stale as 3 years ago.”
