Based on a report by Harian Metro, the Bentong District Police Chief, Superintendent Zaiham Mohd Kahar shared that his party received a report from the victim, who is the wife of the alleged mastermind.

The suspects then fled in a white Perodua Alza vehicle which was parked in front of the house,” he said. They also managed to get away with a number of jewellery, estimated to be worth RM16,000.

“The raid was carried out at 9:30om in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan and succeeded in seizing the vehicle used by the suspects during the incident,” he added. The 2 local suspects had previous records involving robbery cases.

Results of an interrogation found that the victim’s husband, a 47-year-old local man, was suspected of complicity in the robbery.

Her husband was also arrested and all of them were remanded for 7 days to assist with the investigation according to Section 395/397 of the Penal Code (gang robbery using weapons),” he explained.
