JUST IN: MoE Abolishes PT3 Exams, Students To Be Assessed By Teachers

The Ministry of Education (MoE) will be abolishing the PT3 examinations, effective this year (2022), as announced in a press conference.

Education Minister, Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin shared that after not carrying out PT3 examinations in 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid-19 outbreak, they will officially be abolishing it this year.

In a Twitter posting shared via Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin’s communications team, they also shared that teachers will now evaluate students through their daily lessons.

Pupils will be assessed by teachers at all times through school-based assessments to ensure that they have full mastery in the topics taught,” he said.
