The Yang di-Pertuan Agong is currently undergoing treatment at the National Heart Institute (IJN).
Following reports from Astro Awani, His Majesty has been there since Monday (21 September). Al-Sultan Abdullah was admitted to IJN after he raised concerns about being uncomfortable with his health.
Thankfully, his situation is not classified as serious as of now. “Al-Sultan Abdullah has been advised to be monitored by doctors at this time and His Majesty is not in a worrying situation. He is also expected to be allowed to leave IJN in the near future,” said Datuk Peneraola Bijaya Diraja Istana Negara in a statement recorded today.
As for Her Majesty, the Raja Permaisuri Agong who was in Kota Bharu yesterday for a personal visit, she has since rushed home to be alongside her husband, Al-Sultan Abdullah. “Tunku Hajah Azizah has cancelled the visit which was scheduled to take place until Wednesday”.
Citizens are all urged to pray together for the well-being of Al-Sultan Abdullah so that his health can be restored immediately.
Hopefully, he’ll be discharged soon.
