Primary school students at SK Desa Aman could not hold back their tears, weeping uncontrollably as they said a heartbreaking goodbye to their relief teacher, known on Threads as izzachmy, whose two-month contract had officially come to an end.
Captured in a viral video shared on Threads, the emotional farewell highlights the profound bond the educator built with his pupils in a remarkably short span of time.

A bond formed through respect and readiness
According to the teacher, building a strong rapport with the kids came naturally because he took over as their homeroom teacher.
One of his most memorable takeaways from the brief stint was the consistent enthusiasm the children showed every time he walked into the classroom. Without fail, the students would already have their materials prepared and be fully ready to learn, making him feel deeply valued and appreciated.
“It’s sad to see my students cry when my contract as a relief teacher ends after being at this school for just two months. If it was for years, I don’t know what it would be like, maybe the teacher would end up crying alongside them too!” Izzat shared online.

Still part of the school community
Even though his formal teaching contract has concluded, Izzat’s journey at the school is far from over.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, the teacher shared that both the students and the school still hold a special place in his heart, so he continues to spend a significant amount of time on campus as the coach for the school’s touch rugby team.
The touching display of affection from his students stands as a powerful testament to the fact that true impact isn’t measured by the length of time spent, but by the sincerity of care shown in the classroom.
Netizens’ reaction

“Teacher… I cried along too. All ideas to write history notes are gone after watching this video. It’s so sad, teacher.”

“Lucky the students liked you, back when I was doing my practical teaching the students didn’t like me because I was fierce, didn’t get even a single gift, while the ones who liked to entertain the students got a ton of gifts.”

“A kind teacher must have lots of students who like them.”

“The teacher was about to cry too hehe, it’s so nice when our students love us right, teacher?”
