“Is it haram to drive an old Wira?” – M’sian Actress Hits Back At Those Judging Her Car

People on the Internet always have lots to say whenever they talk about someone else, especially a public figure.

Recently, a Malaysian actress, Jasmin Hamid, posted about how some people have judged her for still driving around a Proton Wira.

In her Instagram post, she says: “Alhamdullilah my Felari is now awake and will be bringing me to eat cendol after a few years asleep due to the MCO, the name is Bobob.”

Jasmin noted that when she takes Bobob out, there are some people who will be judgy towards her.

“Why is an artist using an old Wira? Are you in poverty?”

The actress says that she hears this all of the time but she pretends not to, but in her head, she is questioning why people are like that.

“Why? Is it haram to use an old Wira? An old car? I’m okay with using an old Wira, why are you the one who is allergic to it and why?”

However, Jasmin is not too affected by it and says that she is content with her life and her ways.

“There is sentimental value in Bobob and to those who are judging me and talking about me, how about you buy me a new car? If not then close your mouth and ears.”

Well, we certainly agree that those who are judging her should learn to keep their opinions to themselves.
