Safety on the road is the most important thing that we have to keep in mind when we are behind the wheel. However, potholes in some areas may cause not only damages to your car but can also potentially endanger road users.

An Iranian YouTuber, who is into automotive, however, does not think that the roads in Malaysia are in bad condition. In one of his YouTube videos titled “Why you shouldn’t be afraid of lowering your car”, he said that Malaysians should be grateful for the roads in Malaysia because they’re great, as compared to the roads where he is from.

In response to a question that many have asked him, he said “you guys are being ungrateful.”

“If the roads are bad, why are there so many super cars on the road, and they’re not the ones complaining,” he said.

He has been asked many times about his ability to drive a lowered car in Malaysia as the roads are sometimes not in good condition. The YouTuber, who is based in Malaysia said that he has been driving his lowered car for six months now and to date, he has yet to encounter any problems with the roads in our country.

He’s not saying that he has maintained driving without any damages, but the issues that he had were minor.

“I won’t say I’ve never scraped my car, but I’ve never broken the front part.”

He then reminded fellow Malaysians to stop complaining about the roads in Malaysia and said that we have better roads compared to where he’s from.

“If you see the roads in Iran, you’ll be so grateful about where you’re living in right now.”

At the end of his video, he urged some drivers to stop complaining and blaming others for their lack of driving skills.

In the comment sections of his TikTok post, he also revealed that he has driven for more than 30,000 in the past 6 months. Many Malaysians have since asked him to pay a visit to Sabah and Sarawak to understand further about the road conditions there.

Fellow Malaysian drivers, do you agree with his take on the roads in our country? Do we really have the best roads compared to other countries?
