A 38-year-old man in Indonesia was arrested after he robbed a victim that turned out to be his own wife.

According to Berita Sulsel, the man was waiting for his victim at Jalan Sultan Hasanuddin in South Sulawesi on 21 April.

Apparently, he had followed his wife, who was on a black motorcycle and blocked her before pulling her hair and taking her phone and bike.

“The results of the investigation show that the victim is the wife of the suspect. We have brought the suspect to the Bulukumba Police Headquarters for further investigation,” the Indonesian authorities shared, as he was arrested for robbery and violence.

He allegedly carried out the crime on his wife as he was disappointed that she had left him.

He was apparently upset that his wife no longer wanted to live with him and that their relationship was no longer on good terms.

And to think, that’s how he thought he could win her back?
