Chatting with your friends can be time-consuming and so we reserve it for when we are free.

Recently, a video of a woman screaming in a group chat was uploaded to the Utarmeme Facebook page.

In the 41-second clip, a woman from Kuantan greeted a group of more than 40 people by asking: “Excuse me, little boys and girls, did you guys open this group for chatting or what?”

“If you guys do not know, there are primary school students here. Please think carefully. If anything
happens, I will call the police here, and you will be miserable.”

She adds that her daughter (presumably still in primary school) has not done any housework ever since she started chatting in the group.

“Let me tell you, my daughter can’t even do housework as she is so busy chatting with you guys. What were you guys thinking when you opened this group?”

Later on, she continues by saying that she will be collecting all the information and chat history in the group so that she can lodge a police report.

Many netizens found it hilarious and reacted with a laughing emoji while others just tagged their friends. You can listen to the clip here.

Although we’re not sure what this case will be classified under if it goes to the police station, we do think that the Internet is not exactly a safe space for children to be without supervision.

So if you’re a parent or a guardian, always remember to keep a lookout for the content that the little ones are taking in.
