What’s with all this violence happening lately?!

In a report by the New Straits Times a huge fight involving at least 30 people broke out in Jalan Telawi, Bangsar in front of a banana leaf restaurant during the wee hours of the morning today.

At around 3.30 in the morning, police arrived at the scene and tried to stop the fight before it escalated. As that was happening, a car reversed and nearly crashed into the police officers.

The car then sped towards Jalan Ara, where it nearly collided with another police patrol car. Police officers then tried firing shots at the car, hitting the car’s front fender.

However, the driver of the car managed to leave his car and escape the scene without being caught.

Police reportedly found  three motorcycle helmets, a metre-long rod, a knife, a baton and a bloodstained jacket inside the abandoned car.

After the incident was stopped, 21 people were arrested, including 4 women, over alleged involvement in the massive brawl.

Authorities are still investigating the reason behind the fight.

This isn’t the first violent incident to take place in Bangsar, unfortunately. Earlier last month, three police officers were badly injured after being beaten up by “Gang 36” members.
