A man narrowly escaped death when the car he was driving was involved in a collision with another vehicle along Jalan Pasir Pelangi in Johor, early Saturday morning (24 January).

Johor Bahru South District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Raub Selamat said the incident is believed to have occurred at around 6:50 AM and involved a Honda Civic and a Proton Wira.

β€œInvestigations found that the accident happened when the Honda Civic, driven by a 30‑year‑old local man, was travelling from Permas Jaya towards the city centre.”

β€œThe man lost control of his vehicle at the location while attempting to overtake a Proton Wira driven by a 52‑year‑old local woman,” he said.
