This black doggy went viral recently when it was attending its owner’s funeral as it seems to know what was going on. In an over two-minute-long video that has been circulating on Facebook, it shows the dog, lying on the floor near its owner’s coffin, wearing a yellow scarf similar to the other mourners.
However, what caught netizens’ attention was the fact that the heartbroken dog was clearly distressed and seems to understand that something is wrong. It looked like the loss of its owner affected it so badly that its body was trembling while its mouth was open wide as if it was in pain. Our hearts cannot take this!

One of the family members noticed the heartbroken dog and called another relative over to comfort the dog. A few mourners came over and petted the dog but it was still inconsolable. The incident is believed to have happened in Vietnam and it was the grandmother who had passed away.
Many netizens were touched by the video, saying that dogs were truly man’s best friend and know how to mourn the loss of its owner. Some also said that this dog was more loyal and loving than some humans out there. While dogs can’t cry like humans, they are highly intuitive and sensitive so they know when something is wrong and have their own ways of coping with grief. The post has since been shared over 43,000 times in just a few days and is a truly heartbreaking video.
