Since the Movement Control Order (MCO) has entered phase four, it can be seen that the government has slightly relaxed on the enforcement of MCO.

Yesterday (29 April), it was announced that the head of a family who is out running errands for food, medicine and other daily items can be accompanied by another family member. Now, the government will be discussing on whether they should reopen kindergartens or to keep them close during phase four of the MCO.

Today (30 April), the Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) in regards to the reopening of Childcare Centres (TASKA) and Kindergartens (TADIKA) in phase four will be discussed and announced.

Throughout the earlier phases of MCO, kindergartens and childcare centres had to remain close. As a result of this, kindergarten teachers mostly opted for online classes as a medium to continue teaching their students.

There will also be other matters to be discussed in the same meeting including the fate of sports events such as Liga Malaysia (Liga-M) while Datuk Seri Dr Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri , Minister in Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) will be discussing about the SOP for Ibadah throughout the Ramadan month.
