That’s not all there is to Astro Sports Pack either! Aside from the Premier League, you can also stream full coverage of 2022’s biggest sporting events in HD and 4K UHD, including:

From nail-biting Formula 1 and MotoGP races to smashing performances from our local shuttlers at Badminton World Federation (BWF) tournaments and high adrenaline UFC fights, there’s simply no shortage of thrills with the Astro Sports Pack!

3. Support your passion the best way possible

As much as we love our football matches, many of us still watch illegal streams of our favourite teams competing. It’s free lah, kan, so why bother paying?

What we don’t know, is that doing so harms the football industry as a whole. ?

A portion of Astro’s broadcast fee to the Premier League actually funds your favourite clubs, contributing to the players’ salaries, training, management costs and everything else!

“Ohhhh, so that’s why Astro has to pay for broadcast rights.” And by watching the Premier League matches legally, you’ll be supporting your team directly too!

On a more personal note, we can even kena a hefty fine of up to RM200,000 or imprisonment of up to 20 years, or both.

“The Copyright (Amendment) Act 2022 sees the introduction of new streaming and linking-related offences, including a law against those providing or sharing access to an online location containing pirated works,” Smith shared.

“It provides an avenue for the authorities to go after those who facilitate copyright infringement by manufacturing, importing, selling, or hiring any streaming technology, as well as commit piracy and technology offences.”

Thus, the best way to watch all Premier League matches, as well as other thrilling sports events, is to support places that are showing the matches legally, or better yet, sign up for the Astro Sports Pack to enjoy them whenever, wherever, and however we want!

Don’t miss out on all the live sports action this year, with Astro offering a limited-time promotion for Astro Sports Pack at RM89.99 monthly.

You will have access to more than 80 entertainment and lifestyle channels, as well as the Astro GO companion app, where you can stream exclusive programmes on demand wherever, whenever you want – don’t forget to try out Astro GO’s immersive Interactive Mode too!
