2 weeks ago, the police rescued 402 children and teenagers from 20 welfare homes across Selangor and Negeri Sembilan, allegedly run by Global Ikhwan Service and Business Holding (GISBH), after they were subjected to terribly horrific treatment and sexual assault.

Now, those who inflicted such acts on the kids are facing consequences for their actions.

According to an X post by Sinar Harian, a GISBH teacher will be facing 10 years in jail for child abuse.

They wrote, “The actions of a teacher who pressed down on a student’s chest with his knee and caned 3 other children at a GISB Holdings Sdn Bhd (GISBH) education and welfare centre, invited repercussions as the Klang Sessions Court sentenced him to 10 years in jail on Thursday (September 26).”

“23-year-old Muhammad Barur Rahim Hisam, who was wearing a red T-shirt, was sentenced after pleading guilty to 4 charges that were read before Judge Noridah Adam.”

We genuinely hope that the authorities will continue to take action against those who put the 402 children and teenagers through torment.
