Following investigations by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) conducted under the Income Tax Act 1967, GISB Holdings Sdn Bhd (GISB) was found to have never paid their relevant taxes.

According to a report by Astro Awani, the Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain shared that the investigation results came in collaboration with the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN).

Additionally, Razarudin informed that PDRM had detected a post uploaded by the owner of the Facebook account, Dzulkifli Salleh, attempting to raise funds to help the children of GISB members affected by the issue.

“The public is advised not to be deceived by such efforts which are believed to be attempts to take advantage of this issue. PDRM calls on the community to pass on any information that can help the investigation of this case to the police,” he said.

In the meantime, he added that the results of PDRM’s investigation into GISB found that their business methods had been facilitated by Aurad Muhammadiah’s version of GISB. Aurad Muhammadiah is a practice, that is said to be derived from the holy verses of the Quran, which was banned at both state and national levels.

He said their beliefs are so fanatical that they distort the true teachings of Islam.

“This process is similar to the indoctrination process which becomes a life value that is believed and embraced wholeheartedly by its followers. This doctrine is very dangerous to the security of the country, especially the teachings of Islam in this country and the welfare and future of its followers who depend entirely on their leaders,” added Razarudin.
