No more chicken rice for us, at least for now when we’re in that area!

A few foreigners working at a roast meat supplier have recently been exposed of butchering a dog and cooking it using the same kitchen utensils they would use on other poultry like chicken and duck. To make things worse, this appalling incident actually took place at a shop in Cheras, KL! Nope, not in China this time.

According to a witness surnamed Yap, he and his friends were having a yumcha session at a nearby restaurant at around 10pm when suddenly, he heard a dog crying out in pain from the back alley. He decided to check it out and here’s what he saw.

*Warning: some viewers may find the video content disturbing.

“My friends and I went inside the shop and found a basin full of chunks of dog meat. We took some photos as evidence and lodged a report at the police station,” he said.

This incident had garnered the attention of many dog lovers who had also lodged several police reports. When questioned, the foreigners shockingly said that the local residents do not allow them to rear dogs in their house, so they were left with no choice but to kill the dog and eat it.

They added that the dog meat was meant for personal consumption and not for the customers. Yeah, that’s not helping at all.

This incident went insanely viral on social media and mainstream news outlets.

It was understood that the police are already looking into this case and the roast meat shop is allegedly located on Jalan 8/95B off Jalan Kuari, Taman Cheras Utama, according to this netizen.

We certainly hope the Ministry of Health and the police would seriously look into this mind-baffling case and do something about it! RIP doggo 🙁
