How long have we been waiting for this?!

In his press conference today (12 April), Defence Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri made a few announcements and one of them was that six states are still under CMCO which will be extended until 28 April. The six states are:

  • Selangor
  • Kuala Lumpur
  • Penang
  • Kelantan
  • Johor
  • Sarawak

The minister added that interstate travel is still not allowed.

Sabriiiiii

Other than that, he also made an important announcement:

“All eateries/ restaurants/fast food restaurants and also food delivery services that serve for sahur are allowed to extend their operation hours till 6am.”

However, this little rule is only applicable in the month of Ramadhan (13 April- 13 May). Restaurants and eateries that are located in malls will have to abide by the mall’s opening and closing times.

This is certainly good news for all the mamak goers even if it only lasts one month! However, do remember to abide by all the SOPs!

Stay tuned for more updates!
