Tupperware containers are every mother’s favourite child.

Nearly every household in Malaysia will have at least 1 Tupperware container amongst the many other containers stored in the cupboard.

The strength of a Tupperware container is widely known, especially among mothers.

Recently, a picture of a Tupperware container full of fish crackers went viral on Twitter for being able to keep the food inside completely intact, fresh and crunchy despite being in the floodwaters for a long time.

In the picture, the structure and the inside of the Tupperware container seemed perfectly fine despite its dirty exterior as it was covered in mud.

The fact that the fish crackers remained looking fresh and edible showed how indestructible a Tupperware container can really be!

Other flood victims share their Tupperware pictures too!

Following the tweet which has gone viral, other flood victims have also shared and reposted pictures of their other ‘surviving’ Tupperware containers which have remained intact.

From dates to flour, all types of food were found to be safe and sound in the Tupperware containers despite having been floating in the dirty waters.

“Hmmm seems like nothing can be used anymore, but please put the Tupperware containers aside. I still want them…”

A user even commented that in their experience of having cleaned the houses of flood victims for the past 5 days, the majority of makciks have praised the power of the Tupperware container.

Even murukkus which we all know are quite fragile, remained safe and intact in the Tupperware containers!

After seeing the pictures, Twitter users were amused and amazed at how much power Tupperware containers hold. Many took to the comments section to express their disbelief.

“Tupperware’s new tagline: Flood tested.”

One user pointed out how the snacks were still edible and mentioned that this is a big flex for the brand.

Tupperwares are another breed I can confirm that,” said another user.

Mother’s favourite item

Twitter users now understand why mothers love their Tupperware containers so much and we think that everyone is thinking the same thing!

“I’ll get kicked out from my house if my mum’s Tupperware goes missing.”

After seeing the “power” that Tupperware containers hold, some Twitter users say that they will never question their mother’s obsession towards Tupperware containers anymore.
