Working in customer service is a particular kind of job, mostly due to the diverging characters and personalities staff members have to encounter while carrying out their day-to-day duties. However, one branch of employees from supermarket chain Eco-Shop, in Kuala Selangor, decided to take the humorous route in sharing their experiences when dealing with a variety of patrons.

In a clip shared to their TikTok page @eco_shopkualaselangor, a few staff members from the outlet adorably compiled a series of quirky actions carried out by customers and mimicked them in a light-hearted fashion.

“I’m a customer. If I don’t want something, I’ll just put it back wherever I want,” jokingly began one worker.

In a subsequent part, another staff member, in the perspective of a customer, added how they would try items on display even though there is a sign which prohibits such actions.

“I’m a customer. If I am thirsty, but I haven’t paid for it yet, I’ll just go ahead and drink it,” added one employee while drinking from a carton of juice in the store.

One of the funniest aspects of the clip entirely, were scenes where staff members introduced themselves to provide their perspective, with these segments getting intentionally yet playfully cut half way to depict how no one really listens to them.

Comedically enough, multiple Malaysians in the comments section added how some of the playful dragging had some truth to it, with many people admitting to doing these things themselves when they go into supermarket stores.

“Every time I go into a supermarket, I suddenly get thirsty. In the middle of walking, I will grab a bottle of water and drink it immediately. Only once I settle my shopping will I pay for it,” admitted one user.

Nevertheless, some users even light-heartedly added that while the video was curated in jest, service workers really are some of the most tolerant and patient employees of all time.
