Choppy weather has made it significantly more difficult for people to carry out their day-to-day tasks, including regular chores and errands that are absolute necessities.

However, one grocery store worker in Setiawangsa has been making waves online for taking time out of his work day to aid customers. In a clip shared by the official account of convenience store ST Rosyam Mart @strosyammarttiktok, one man used a giant umbrella to help shuffle customers, who were waiting outside the store, to their cars.

Ushing as many people as he could, the man, who was holding a giant-sized umbrella, walked people to their cars. Some even had trolleys of goods with them. At one point, the worker also helped bring a customer from his vehicle to the store, all while the rain persisted.

Earning praise for going above and beyond his duties, multiple individuals thanked the man for helping customers, though it was not his duty to do so. Others also said that many people would have waited for the rain to subside or found a way through it themselves.

One user even recalled how she had gone to another franchise of the same mart, saying that workers there helped load her car with her purchases after she finished shopping.

“He is solid. This is how you take care of your customers,” wrote one commenter.
