Drunk Man Gets Eyeball Gouged Out by Foreigner During Fight at Penang Flat

Altercations, especially those involving alcohol, can quickly spiral out of control, leading to severe injuries and, in some cases, even death.

In a shocking and violent incident, a physical altercation between two men escalated to a horrifying level after one of them had gotten one of their eyeballs gouged out.

According to Berita Harian, the 2 pm incident occurred when the victim, who was reportedly drunk, allegedly disturbed the foreign suspect at a flat on Jalan Ara Kuda in Penang yesterday (November 16).

During the fight, the suspect is said to have gouged out the victim’s left eyeball with his hand while also sustaining injuries to his right eye during the altercation.

It is learned that the victim is now in critical condition and is receiving treatment at the Kepala Batas Hospital with the help of Health Ministry personnel, who also reportedly found the victim’s left eyeball not far from the scene.

Penang police chief Datuk Hamzah Ahmad confirmed the incident and said police arrested the suspect.

He added that the case is being investigated under Section 325 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing grievous hurt.

Meanwhile, videos of the incident have also made its way onto social media.
