Let’s talk about Khairul Aming for a second. Though not many will recognise him when walking around Malaysian streets, it is astonishing to see how famous he has become in recent times, not just in Malaysia but overseas.

Astounded to hear about Khairul Aming’s fame overseas, this group of influencers thought it would be a good idea to interview the man and ask how he expanded his fanbase to the UK.

“Recently, we went to London. We ordered some food, and the Chef looked at us and asked if we knew who Khairul Aming was.”

Responding to the question, Khairul Aming answered.

“I went to the Borough Market to do some shooting, and a guy named Simon told me that he was not famous on social media.”

He explained, “So I told him, why don’t I help you get more followers? And he got thousands overnight.”

He added, “Since then, any Malaysian who comes to his store will be asked, do you know Khairul Aming?

In his original video, the man lovingly shared how he would ask the question to any Malaysian and how his videos have helped him.

After identifying as Malaysian, the chef can be seen moving forward and asking the same question.

“Do you know Khairul Aming?”

Apparently, this chef sells good oysters. If you are in London, visit him at Borough Market.
