FEEKA is popular among urbanites, hipsters and coffee lovers in KL. The portions for their western – Asian fusion food here is filling and reliably tasty. What we love about this eatery is it’s cute location along Jalan Mesui near Changkat. They’ve got lots of plants and outdoor seating with good working fans so to keep you breezy as you enjoy chatting with your date.

You and your other half can gossip (or you know – confess your undying love for each other ..) over tea & desserts at these lovey-dovey spots.

5. Foo Foo

If you’re really serious about this date, (and you know they have a sweet tooth) you HAVE to bring them to Foo Foo, a fine French dessert spot in TTDI.

This café is cozily decorated with plenty of warm lighting, cooling aircon and unique windows overlooking the street. The menu may look a bit intimidating to some as they blend unique (albeit unconventional) flavours together – but honestly, whatever you order is sure to pleasantly surprise you. Hope you and your partner are adventurous with your palate though!

If you like Tuak then you’d be happy to know that they have a decent selection sold here and allll of them are refreshingly booozzzyyy.

8. Sou Omakase Dining

BUT if French cuisine isn’t something you’re looking for then perhaps this fancy shmancy Japanese Omakase restaurant will suit your palate. Be prepared to SPEND and indulge with the freshest of food.

Customers rely solely on executive chef Fukuchi, who was born in Yokohama, and his staff to curate menus that offer a comprehensive exploration of Japanese cuisine as there isn’t an a la carte menu. Omakase loosely translates to “I’ll leave it up to you” in Japanese, as such the chef picks and curates the menu for you – all you have to do is sit and eat.
