As a kid, we used to wait for the ice-cream trucks, but as adults, it’s common for us to wait for the sight of the abang courier, especially if we’re into online shopping.

However, waiting for our parcels to be delivered to our doorsteps can sometimes be nerve-wracking especially if it takes longer time than scheduled. Recently, a Twitter user had posted a screenshot of the delivery tracking from an online shopping platform. His caption reads,

“It’s not easy to be a courier, I hope everything goes smoothly for you couriers out there.”

Every job definitely has its own ups and downs, but the challenges faced by this particular courier is probably not what you have expected. Based on the information that is displayed on the picture, it is stated that on 6 January (Thursday), the courier is being chased by a dog! That is unexpectedly detailed and honest for them to inform the customer.

WORLD OF BUZZ reached out to the man who posted the picture and asked if he has received his parcel. However, it is revealed that he was only sharing around and the picture is from an Indonesian online shopping platform.

Regardless, netizens in the comment sections felt hilarious and even joked about the situation.

“Next update: Courier fed up, courier is chasing the dog.”

“Next update: Courier managed to save himself.”

“Courier chased by a dog, courier bitten by a dog, courier hits the owner of the dog.”

“The courier would’ve reached quicker if he was chased by a dog because he definitely sped up.”

We hope that the courier managed to escape the dog and most importantly, to have the parcel successfully delivered to the buyer. If you have ever wondered why it’s taking forever for your items to reach, perhaps this is one of the reasons?
