Relationships are never easy, and it always takes a lot of comprehension, communication and effort. Other than that, external factors like the pandemic could also be a test to your relationships.

Just recently, a woman from China shared her experience with her husband during the pandemic. In her post she said,

“I believe the pandemic saved our marriage. As I was bedridden with Covid, my husband took really good care of me, and it has changed my perspective about our marriage.”

Pandemic

She mentioned that they filed for divorce in December but the earliest they could get their papers processed would be in January or February. As they were waiting, they were still living together and unfortunately, she caught Covid.

“I was bedridden and couldn’t do anything but I saw him take care of me. I was really touched by how much he cared for my wellbeing. He would gently push the door open and bring food to me and if the food was too hot, he would cool it down for me before letting me eat”, she added.

Pandemic 1

She shared that despite having a really bad fever, she was certain that she could feel her husband’s love towards her. She later revealed that they’ve been together for 12 years and married for 8.

“My husband is a hardworking man but has always been very quiet. I think our problem in our marriage is that we don’t communicate enough with each other”, she said.

Pandemic 2

She then ended the post saying that after discussing with her husband, they’ve agreed to stay with each other and work it out.

While the pandemic has been a tough journey, it’s definitely nice to see that something good came out of it. What do you think about her story? Let us know in the comments below!
