Chinese Woman Gets Pregnant After One Night Stand, Travels to Malaysia to Find Baby’s Dad

The one night stand culture is a common incident in Western cultures and slightly less so in Asia. But, whatever your view is on this issue, always remember to be safe okay? If not you may end up like this unfortunate Chinese woman Liu Hongjie.

Her story was highlighted by the media in an effort to look for her baby’s daddy. Apparently, ten years ago, she met a Malaysian man who went to Fujian, China for work and they had romantic relations.

However, when she woke up the next day, the man had already disappeared, but he left a rather “memorable” present for her as she soon discovered that she was pregnant with his child. See the importance of safe sex?

36-year-old Liu raised her daughter single-handedly for 9 years and over the years she finally saved up enough money to travel over to Malaysia to search for her “husband”. Although they are not legally married, but she professes that she is indeed his “wife”.

She says, “Husband, where are you? Do you know that we have a daughter together?”

Liu spent three fruitless days searching for her “husband” but could not find him. Dejected, she decided to seek for the help of MCA’s Head of Public Services and Complaints Department Datuk Seri Michael Chong to locate her missing spouse.

According to Chinapress, Chong held a press conference on her behalf today and told the press that they had other information on the Malaysian man but they did not want to release it to the public.

He said that he did not want the man’s life or if his family’s life here to be affected, if he has one but instead asks the man to contact him if he sees the picture of Liu Hongjie and her daughter.

So, if you are the missing father, it’s time for a little family reunion! Just call 03-22033888 for more information on your family.
