One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. While that saying might have sounded pretty innocent when used in most conversations, it most certainly carries a very ominous tone in the case of this Facebook post that was recently uploaded to Facebook. Allegedly occurring in Cheras, two men were found secretly hoarding a large amount of surgical face masks.

But what makes their actions all the more suspect is the fact that instead of just keeping the masks in boxes, the men were seen drying the face masks out in the open under the hot sun.

This has led many people online to speculate that the only reason why these face masks are being dried out in the open is because they have been washed, which also implies that the face masks were previously used by other people.

Netizens who commented on the post have suggested that these face masks could have been disposed from hospitals before being collected and ‘recycled’ for use, while others are wondering why haven’t the local police been alerted of the situation.
