Budget 2024: FREE Driving Tests, Helmets & Subsidised Flight Tickets for Youth from Low-Income Family

PM Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim has tabled the Budget 2024 in the Parliament today (October 13).

Anwar announced that the low-income group will have many benefits that await them.

The government will be covering the expenses of driving test for e-hailing, taxis, as well as B2 class for motorcycles. In the meantime 100,000 free helmets will also be distributed to low-income families.

This will benefit an estimated 40,000 youth from low-income families.

Aside from that, the government will also introduce FLYsiswa, subsidised flight ticket for students from low-income families who wish to return to their respective hometowns. The FLYsiswa is expected to benefit more than 60,000 students.
