Measuring your body temperature before entering any premise is compulsory during the Covid-19 pandemic. But it seems like many are still taking it lightly and scanning their body temperature wrongly.

Today (21 January 2021), the Malaysian National Security Council (MKN) reminds Malaysians to measure body temperatures by using their forehead instead of their hands.

“Be a wise person, don’t scan the temperature with hand, scan it on the forehead for an accurate temperature measurement,” MKN stated in its post.

Besides, MKN also urges people to correct whoever that are using their hands when doing temperature scanning.

“You may save you and your loved ones’ lives,” MKN added.

Since we entered the new year, Malaysia’s daily Covid-19 cases remain at four figures. On 8 January 2021, there were a total of 16 new deaths caused by Covid-19, making it the highest daily record.

The pandemic is worsening with more new cases and new deaths each day, so don’t be selfish and comply with the government’s standard operating procedures (SOPs) correctly at all times.
