Men and their love of cars go hand-in-hand to the extent that sometimes, we really don’t understand the love affair between them. Just try slamming the car door and you’ll get what I mean.

This husband definitely had the shock of his life when his beloved car was set ablaze by his wife, because he refused to replace it with a new car. Ouch!

According to Kosmo Online, an old Perodua Kancil had been the topic of a heated discussion between the couple for the past three days. There were several problems with the car, which caused a lot of trouble to the family, leading to the outburst of the wife towards the husband over the matter.

Unable to withstand the faulty vehicle any longer and her husband’s unwillingness to get a new car, the wife boldly set the car, which was worth RM4,500, on fire at Jalan Seroja 1B, Bukit Sentosa on March 11 at around 11.30am.

There were several reasons that reportedly lead to the wife’s fury. For starters, the air conditioning of the car had malfunctioned, thus the wife would always have to drive the vehicle under the scorching hot weather. Besides that, the car would frequently break down midway on the road, resulting in their son being unable to attend school, which ultimately affected his schedule.

The wife had requested for the husband to replace the old car with a new one several times, but the husband just wouldn’t take her advice. Always listen to your wife! 😛

Before the wife fully unleashed her anger, she reportedly smashed the side mirror of the car first, before setting the Perodua Kancil on fire. You never want to mess with an angry woman.

Kuala Kubu Baru Fire and Rescue Department Chief Kamil Hamadan said that the car was 100 per cent burnt when the firemen arrived at the scene, China Press reported.

Hulu Selangor district police chief Superintendent Lim Bak Phai said that the police has yet to receive any reports regarding this incident.

What do you think of the wife’s action? Would you have done the same thing or was she just overreacting? Tell us in the comments!
