The Fire and Rescue Department were summoned to action yesterday (18 August) when they received a distress call at 9:40pm from a woman at Seri Banduri Apartment in Bukit Indah, Ampang who was in need of rescuing from the frog that was on her door.

A team of five firemen were deployed for the frog extraction mission following an amusing report that was shared on the Balai Bomba dan Penyelamat Ampang Facebook page:

“The firemen personnel acted quickly to catch the frog and release it into a safe environment.”

Unsurprisingly, netizens blew up the comment section of the post, amused by both the distress call and the extent these firemen were willing to cooperate with the mission. Many had high praise for these abang bomba who were willing to go through such great lengths for a small rescue operation.
