Air Selangor: Some Districts Still Have To Wait Till 9 Sept Before Water Returns

Hopefully the water diruption will be over soon and the culprit behind the water pollution will get their just punishment!

Most Selangorians and KL-ites have been without water close to 48 hours now due to an unexpected water supply disruption brough forth by water pollution in a main water reservoir. However, the hardworking folks at Air Selangor has been working tirelessly to fix this disruption ASAP and it’s beginning to pay off.

As announced by Air Selangor on their website and Facebook, water supply has resumed to some users beginning at 12pm today. However, other districts still have to wait until 9 September for water to return.

As of 1pm today, 4 districts have gotten their water back and you can see the recovery plan timeline for water supply below:

In the press statement, Air Selangor reiterated that efforts to stabilize the water supply system is ongoing.

They expect the water disruption to be fully over by 6am on 9 September 2020.
