Anyone who is into cooking loves experimenting in the kitchen. However, some dishes might not turn out as well as we’ve previously envisioned, and that’s perfectly normal.

Pontian MP and UMNO member Datuk Seri Haji Ahmad bin Maslan (aka Ahmad Maslan) is certainly no stranger to the kitchen, and while most of his culinary inventions look delectable, we’re not so sure about this latest one!

The politician recently took to his Twitter account to share photos of him cooking up a storm. This time, using strawberries from Cameron Highlands (in light of the upcoming by-election happening on 26th January) to make… Nasi Goreng Strawberry. Hmm…

Needless to say, his latest creation was met with mixed responses from Malaysian netizens, who were understandably confused over why he decided to include strawberries to the fried rice.

“This is not fusion food. This is next level – con-fusion food,” one netizen said.

“Hello, police. There are people misusing innocent strawberries,” another commenter said.

Even Rembau MP Khairy Jamaluddin didn’t approve of Ahmad Maslan’s latest dish. While KJ did mention he loves his cooking, he pointed out that Nasi Goreng Strawberry was just plain gross.

Well, everyone has their off days, but we definitely shouldn’t get angry over our mistakes! It’s like Ahmad Maslan himself once said;

What do you think of Ahmad Maslan’s Nasi Goreng Strawberry dish? Would you try it? Let us know in the comments!
