A team of firefighters rescued a woman who could not get down after climbing a 9.1 meter high acacia tree at Jalan Lubok Dulang, Ayer Lanas, yesterday (8 December).

It is believed that the victim, Riszi Che Soh, 51, hallucinated and climbed the tree and couldn’t get herself back down.

Head of Jeli Fire and Rescue Station, Mohd. Adni Ibrahim said they received a call from the victim’s family at about 9.33am before 9 firefighters were sent to the scene.
