A video has been going viral showing a 26-year-old man going on a rampage at a shopping mall in Thailand after a phone shop worker couldn’t fix his phone.

According to Thaiger, the man went berserk at a mall in Khon Kaen, Isaan province, because the shop couldn’t repair his phone since he couldn’t remember his account password.

He started to lose his temper

The man started losing his temper the moment the female worker handed back his phone, telling him she couldn’t fix it without the password.

As soon as he heard that, he went on a rampage inside the phone shop and at various spots in and outside the mall.

He threw his phone back in its box, slammed the lid shut, and started screaming in frustration.

Shocked by the man’s reaction, the worker quickly called her colleagues for help as he stormed out of the store.

Witnesses say he damaged several items

In the video, the man was later seen crouching down, punching the floor, and screaming before getting up and walking again.

Witnesses said he wrecked several items inside the mall on his way out. Once outside, he even damaged some motorcycles and helmets belonging to other shoppers before riding off on his own bike.

Police officers from Mueang Khon Kaen Police Station later found him standing outside an army base and brought him in for questioning.

Police revealed that he has a mental illness

The police reached out to the man’s family and found out he has a mental illness and was supposed to see a doctor for a follow-up on February 28.

His younger brother later went on social media to apologise to the store workers and shoppers for what happened.

There were no injuries reported, but the total cost of the damage hasn’t been revealed yet.
