Malaysia has definitely reached a point where scams are on a whole new level of creativity.
From blatantly lying to making fake bank receipts, these people have stooped to an all-new low. 23-year-old Haris is one of the many ‘intelligent’ liars.

This young man was able to con about RM7,000 to RM16,000 out of other guys by disguising himself as women on social media. In other words, he was basically catfishing.
He would create fake accounts with female names and pictures to lure his victims.
But his excuse for doing so will leave your jaw dropping. Apparently, he was possessed!
In a viral post by Manna Melynna, the angry woman caught Haris trying to cheat more victims of their money. She shares,
“One of the victims asked for my help because the suspect said that I was (Haris’) boutique’s business partner.
“I found it weird because I have never met this suspect. And so I investigated so deeply that I left no stones unturned. My name was tarnished because of this person!”
Manna explained that Haris would steal people’s pictures and used it as his own and then create fake names and Facebook accounts to prey on men.

Some of these accounts are Chinta ChanduRi and Syarifah Syakilla.
His tactics include playing like a victim of domestic abuse to pique the interest and pity of men.
Manna wrote,
“He will cry to gain people’s sympathy, acting as a widow or divorcee who was abused by her husband. And then he will attract the victims and suggests they get married together.
“And subsequently ask them to bank in money to his account on the ruse of buying an engagement or wedding ring.”

“He was very good at faking a woman’s voice and his victims are mostly Malay or Indonesian men.”
When Haris was finally caught by Manna and one of his victims, he gave one of the most EPIC excuse ever!
“The suspect said that he was put under a spell. Apparently, ‘she’ was cursed into a man’s body. The only was to return to ‘her’ original body was to drink the sperm of the people ‘she’ likes.”
Bruh. You think this is some bloody TV3 drama is it?!
Manna and the poor victim then turned Haris in to the police. Investigations are currently ongoing.

Goes to show how ‘brilliant’ people are these days when it comes to cheating people out of their money. So the next time some random ‘damsel’ adds you on social media, please just be careful…
