21yo Woman Scares Off Man Who Sexually Assaulted Her In Kota Damansara Parking Lot

`A 21-year-old woman managed to scare off a man who sexually assaulted her at the parking lot of a commercial building in Kota Damansara.

The incident happened on Monday (24 May) at 9.30am when the woman was outside her car. The suspect pushed her, causing her to fall on her back, after which he assaulted her, reported Kosmo!.

According to Petaling Jaya District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid, the suspect pinned the woman down, molested her and tried to take off her clothes.

“The frightened victim struggled and shouted for help, causing the suspect to punch the victim in the face many times,” he said.

He added that the victim managed to break free and sounded her car horn, causing the suspect to panic and flee.

The woman, who sustained some swelling and bruises on her face, lodged a police report at the Petaling Jaya District Police Headquarters on the day of the incident.

“Preliminary investigation found that the victim had an argument with the suspect while walking towards her car which was parked in a commercial building in the parking area around Kota Damansara,” Mohamad Fakhrudin said.

“The suspect is believed to be a 25-year-old man from Sabah, who is about 165cm tall with his right arm full of tattoos.

The Star reported that the suspect is also skinny with black hair and that the photo of the suspect is based on the victim’s description.

Meanwhile, authorities are tracking down the suspect while the case is being investigated under Section 354 of the Penal Code for indecent assault and Section 323 for causing hurt.
