Malaysian-born comedian, Ronny Chieng has recently made remarks about Singaporeans, and he did not spare his words about what he had in mind.

In a recent IG story, Ronny said it’s not a wise move to listen to any Singaporeans, except the late Lee Kuan Yew when it comes to current affairs, and Ronny had his reasons why.

“Singapore is just a small country island with Karens who have main character syndrome. They think they have all the answers when they have zero perspective on the world.”

To lessen the “hostility”, Ronny ended his story with praise for Singaporeans, saying,

“Great Chili crab, though.”

His remark made its way to Reddit, where netizens debated about the truth behind his bold statement. Some agreed with his take, while others were baffled at the ongoing “war” between Malaysians and Singaporeans.

Of course, not everyone behaves the same, and everyone shares the same mindset. What do you think of Ronny’s remark?
