Zahid Hamidi’s Special Officer for Indian Affairs Ramesh Rao Passes Away Due to Heart Attack

If you are someone who is always on Twitter reading politics, you will definitely know of Ramesh Rao or have heard of him.

In a Facebook post this morning, BERNAMA annoucned that Deputy Prime Minister Zahid Hamidi’s special officer for Indian affairs, Ramesh Rao had passed away.

The Deputy Minister issued a statement where he extended his condolences to the special officer’s family, “the deputy prime minister’s office and the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development would like to send our condolences to Ramesh Rao a/l Krishna Naidu’s family.”

He added that he truly appreciated Ramesh Rao’s service to the country before and after assuming his post as a special officer under him.

The caption of the post indicated that the cause of death is a heart attack which took place in the early morning of 14 January.

Ramesh Rao had taken up the position on 24 December.

 

We send our condolences to the deceased’s family and may he rest in peace.
