So, if you’re going over to Singapore for the year end holidays, you’re probably looking for some cool events to check out while you’re there.

Well, news just got out that Singapore’s having its biggest carnival ever, and it’s the Prudential Marina Bay Carnival!

The carnival itself is opening on the 8th of December and will be running all the way until 1st April 2018. So, you’ll definitely be able to catch it even if you’re not heading over there for the year end holidays this year.

Here are some highlights you can expect from this upcoming carnival!

1. Music performances and a dance arena

Yes, this huge carnival is actually getting a bunch of DJs to spin right in Marina Bay for their Carnival Dance Arena! How awesome is that?

Tech’1, one of Singapore’s own DJs, will be one of the headlining acts. He has performed on the world stage dozens of times at noted festivals like Ultra, World DJ Festival and Warp Music Festival. He’s also performed with international acts like Excision, Jauz, Deorro, Dyro and Zeds Dead.

On top of that, you can also expect to see pop punk band Falling Feathers, rapper TheLionCityBoy, and singer Jasmine Sokko perform too.

So, needless to say, this is definitely the place to check out if you’re looking for some good music!

2. Loads of thrilling rides

No carnival would be complete without its exhilarating rides, and the Marina Bay Carnival is definitely not an exception!

You can expect a whole lot of fun rides, from their Cyclone Coaster, Pirate Ship, Star Flyer and Log Flume, to the more extreme Booster Maxx. These rides will definitely fulfil the needs of serious adrenaline junkies!

These rides will reportedly be priced between $4 (approx. RM12) and $10 (approx. RM30).

3. Michelin-starred food

After enjoying all those heart-stopping rides, you would’ve definitely worked up quite an appetite. No worries, though, because this carnival has definitely got you covered when it comes to good food!

One of the highlights that they’re offering at this carnival is food from Singapore’s Michelin-starred Restaurant, Labyrinth. Besides that, you can expect some delicious gourmet burgers, raclette, churros, cendol soft serve, lemongrass chicken rice bowls, and some Japanese food too.

To keep things exciting, vendors will also be changing their spread every week, so you can keep coming back to try out the new things they have to offer.
