The Road Transport Department (JPJ) driving test has got to be one of the most nerve-wracking things every Malaysian driver went through.

For this particular Malaysian however, the stress from undergoing the driving test must’ve alleviated a bit knowing that she got support from afar: Her caring father.

In an adorable video that has since gone viral on TikTok recently, the father can be seen following his daughter’s JPJ driving test vehicle around and spying on her performance while giving motivational support.

The video is shared by TikTok user @ellyirfan, which is believed to be the mother of the Malaysian woman that’s undergoing the JPJ test, while the person who recorded the video is @ellyirfan’s husband.

As of the time of writing, the 50-second video has been seen more than 620,000 times and received over 79,500 likes, with many Malaysians amused at the father’s antics and amazed at his genuine care for his daughter.

In the video, which is believed to have been recorded in Petaling Jaya, the father can be seen following the JPJ driving test car around on his motorcycle and zooming in with his smartphone while giving some motivational words.

In one instance, the father can be heard saying,

“You can do it, girl, don’t be scared. Elephants on the left and right and a mouse in the middle.”

The analogy was in reference to how the JPJ driving test car, a Perodua Axia was sandwiched in between two huge lorries that would definitely intimidate new drivers.

Furthermore, the father seems to take his daughter’s JPJ driving test super seriously, even knowing the routes that the test would take and showing them in the video.

In the video’s comments section, many Malaysians praised the father’s love for his daughter, with some even being reminded by their own parents.
