Nearly two months after Najib Razak was imprisoned, he still has a lot to tell his beloved rakyat.

Yesterday (October 24), via her Instagram story, Yana Najib revealed that she spent the day visiting her father in prison.

To fellow Indian friends, the former Prime Minister wished them a blessed Deepavali, and to fellow Malaysians, Najib urged the people to take good care of their health given the uncertainties of the weather.

However, Yana was tasked with disseminating more “alarming” messages to the people.

According to her, Najib has adapted to life in prison through reading, praying, and sometimes, looking at the pictures of his grandchildren, but not every aspect of his life is currently on good terms.

“Daddy’s not doing well mentally, as he misses work and worries about the welfare of the rakyat,”

According to Yana, her father is also worried if Malaysians are doing okay with their daily lives, and with the economic downturn expected to take place sometime around next year, the former PM wonders if the rakyat is ready for that.

With the heat of the next General Election (GE) at its peak, and as a former PM, Najib also expressed his concerns about Barisan Nasional (BN), and if his party is ready for the GE which is slated to happen on November 19.

Najib, despite being behind bars, certainly has a lot on his plate. Regardless, Yana assured the people that Daddy still looks calm, and still has a strong spirit.

“Thank you to all who constantly pray for Daddy’s well being. It means the world to us.”

Yana ended her Instagram story by expressing her desire to see justice helping those who were defamed.
