Xiaomi Powerbanks, New Clothes, Tealive; Here’s All The Free Stuff Media Got At Istana Negara Yesterday

If you’ve been caught up with the news from yesterday, you probably would have heard about how Istana Negara (National Palace) turned into what pretty much can be described as being an open bazaar when companies started sending free goodies for press and media staff who were bearing the sweltering heat to get the latest updates on YDP Agong’s announcement of our new Prime Minister.

What started off as a kind and considerate gesture from our King to make sure that the reporters are well taken care of have now spurred a huge marketplace.

But just how much free stuff did journalists get for showing up at Istana Negara yesterday? Well, netizen Sadiq Asyraf went to find out, and OMG, why didn’t we go there ourselves?! Got free Milo wei.

Then got free Krispy Kreme donuts.

Then got free ice-cream from Nestle.

Got Ramly burger also, no need to line up.

Free Tealive, with or without boba. You choose la.

Free Watsons kit, so you can look on point when you meet our beloved YDP Agong.

Don’t want Tealive? Got Gong Cha also!

Forgot to wear nice clothes to meet YDP Agong? Hari-Hari clothing has you covered. Literally.

Got Marybrown fried chicken if you lapar also!

And if your phone no power to take all the photos of the good stuff, Xiaomi will give you a 20,000 mAh powerbank for FREE.

We don’t know about you guys, but that is a lot of free stuff to get, just for showing up at Istana Negara.

Which leaves us to wonder, just what else is are they going to give out today at Istana Negara? Let us know your guesses!
