It’s become common knowledge that one cannot pump diesel into their regular vehicles such as cars and motorcycles.
Yet, it appears that there are still many out there who have yet to receive that memo.
The 古城故事多Best Food & Travel Malacca Facebook page recently shared a video taken of a woman pumping diesel into her Proton X50 and many have been left dumbfounded.
They cheekily wrote, “It looks like you have to pump diesel into your X50.” No, please don’t do that.
In the video, a woman could be seen at a petrol station pump filling up her Proton X50 with diesel.
The person recording the video, who was in the car waiting at the pump behind the woman, questioned, “Is this true? Does the Proton X50 take diesel?” No, it doesn’t!
While some have asked why did the person recording the incident not stop the woman, others were amused and shared jokes and theories on the matter.
“Husband’s car. She’s taking revenge because her husband came home late after going out at night. Now he cannot go out tonight.”
“The new hybrid design can be used with diesel, gasoline and tap water! Everyone needs to bare witness to this or else they will be out of touch with modern technology!”
“I heard that you can save money by using diesel.”
“Grandma taught her before that black cars must fill with black oil and blue cars must fill with blue oil.”
We would like to urge everyone to always double check the nozzles at petrol station pumps and what fuels can be used for your vehicles before pumping!
