“What is lost will be replaced” – Melaka DAP Chairman Thanks Dr Akmal for His Service as State Exco

Earlier today (15 January), it was reported that UMNO Youth Chief Datuk Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh announced that he is stepping down from his post as the Melaka State Executive Councillor (Exco) for Rural Development, Agriculture, and Food Security.

This was confirmed by Akmal himself during the UMNO Youth assembly, saying that his resignation will take effect next weekΒ at an unspecified date.

 

Melaka DAP expresses appreciation to Akmal for his service as Exco

Following this, Melaka DAP Chairman, Khoo Poay Tiong, took to his Facebook page to express his appreciation to Akmal, who is the Merlimau Assemblyman, for his service as the Melaka State Executive Councillor (Exco) for Rural Development, Agriculture, and Food Security.

In his post, Khoo, who is also the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kota Melaka, wrote:

“What is broken will regrow, what is lost will be replaced. High and low tides are the way of the world. Thank you to Dr Akmal for his service as an Exco. Good luck in your future endeavours.”
